Room Rental

Yoga Spot offers the possibility to rent rooms in our locations next to the Olympic Stadium and in Buitenveldert (close to Zuidas and Gelderlandplein). The locations and room are perfect for a small event, workshop, regular classes or therapy sessions. We only share this with practitioners or teachers that work in the same field as we do at Yoga Spot. Below our rules of the game, you’ll find the description of the available rooms.

 

Important rules for room rental at our studio

  • Events, workshops, courses or therapies must have a connection with the core activities of Yoga Spot. Examples of this are body-oriented/energetic work, life purpose sessions, team training, coaching, meditation, deepening and/or awareness training.

  • A room can be rented for the maximum occupancy mentioned below per room. The numbers include trainers-supervisors.
  • You are fully responsible for the organization of your work/sessions/etc., including promotion.
  • What is important is the amount of noise produced during an activity. If more noise is expected to be produced than normal voice volume, which might make the use of other rooms impossible, a ‘noise fee’ of € 100 per part of the day will be charged.
  • The rental can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before the scheduled date of the event. In case of cancellation less than 14 days before the planned date, the tenant is obliged to pay the full amount.
  • You and Yoga Spot will sign an agreement for temporary subletting.

Room: Yang

  • Size: 50 m2
  • Maximum 14 participants including teachers

  • Adjustable lighting
  • Integrated ventilation system  / heating and airconditioning
  • Floor heating
  • Windows can be opened
  • SONOS soundsystem, use with own device and music service (Spotify, Deezer, etc.)
  • 16 yoga mats, 16 meditation cushions, 16 blankets, 16 bolsters, 16 belts and 32 blocks, comfortable head pillows and eye pillows

Room: Yin

  • Size: 75 m2
  • Maximum 23 participants including teachers
  • Bamboo flooring
  • Adjustable lighting
  • Integrated ventilation system / heating and AC
  • Windows can be opened
  • Floor heating
  • SONOS soundsystem, use with own device and music service (Spotify, Deezer, etc.)
  • 23 yoga mats, 23 meditation cushions, 23 blankets, 23 bolsters, 23 belts and 40 blocks, comfortable head pillows and eye pillows

Room: Zen

  • Size: 15 m2
  • Carpet
  • Perfect for therapy sessions and massages.
  • Sound insulated walls and ceiling, 2 walls are covered with felt for extra insulation.
  • Quiet location at the back of the building.
  • Adjustable lighting
  • Ventilation system and heating
  • Windows can be opened
  • Table (foldable)  and 2 chairs
  • Material avalable for Zen: yoga mats, meditation cushions, blankets, bolsters, belts, blocks and comfortable pillows can be used in consultation from the yoga rooms

How do we use the rooms and materials?

  • Please take your shoes off before entering a room, we have changing rooms.
  • We don’t eat or drink in the rooms, you can take an unbreakable drinking bottle with you.
  • You are responsible for leaving the room tidy and clean, used items clean and leaving the room and the rest of the studio as you found it.
  • In case of damage to the room or the studio (the floor, walls, materials or otherwise) recovery costs will be charged.
  • There are seven sturdy folding chairs available that can be used.
  • The walls are not meant to lean against. In case of stains, we charge extra cleaning or, painting costs.
  • Yoga Spot is not responsible for loss of or damage to property while using the space.
  • If you wish to use the music system, use of the SONOS app may be necessary. Or bring your own Bluetooth speaker.
  • Yoga Spot is not liable for injuries or accidents resulting from the use of its materials or spaces.

Amount of persons per room

In Corona times we work with different capacities for the rooms

  • Room Yang: 14 participants + 1 or 2 teachers
  • Room Earth:  15 participants + 1 or 2 teachers
  • Room Yin:  23 participants + 1 or 2 teachers

Other practicalities

  • The rental time starts fifteen minutes before the start of your activity/session/class and ends 15 minutes after the end of it. This time will be used to place/remove materials, cleaning the floor and allow people to come in or leave afterwards.

  • If you opt for rent per part of the day, the following times apply:
    • Part 1 (morning): 9:00-13:00 u
    • Part 2 (afternoon): 13:30-17:30 u
    • Part 3 (evening): 18:00-22:00 u
  • Rent includes use of materials and facilities to make tea and serve water (decanters, thermos, crockery).
  • In case of one-off activities, payment of the invoice is not later than 14 days before the start of the activity, indicating the date and name of the activity.
  • If the agreed term of use is exceeded, a proportional part of the hourly price will be charged per 15 minutes.
  • We’re open for long term room rent as well as long as it fits in with our class schedules.
  • All prices are without VAT.

Prices

Yang (Buitenveldert) and Earth (Olympic Stadium)

  • € 50 per hour*, € 175 per part of the day (4 hours) for companies..

  • € 40 per hour*, €130 per part of the day (4 hours) for a foundation, self-employed or private individual.

Yin (Buitenveldert)

  • € 90 per hour*, € 325 per part of the day (4 hours) for companies.

  • € 70 per hour*, €230 per part of the day for a foundation, self-employed or private individual.

     

    *: there is 15 minutes of time to welcome your customers before, and 15 minutes of tome oafter the agreed renting time included from our side. This time is for you to guide your clients in and out, to set up the space and to leave all spaces cleaned and tidied up as agreed.

Zen (Buitenveldert)

  • Only for rent per part of the day. The minimum rental period is 13 consecutive weeks (per quarter of a year). 
  • € 30,- per part of a set day per week.
