Basics of yoga alignment

The  Foundation of Yoga gives you the basics of yoga in 4 classes: all you need for an injury free yoga practice. We go through the basics, philosophy, and we practice the most common asana’s in order to learn you how you can adjust the asana to your body instead of the other way around. 

We take the time to practice the most standing poses, twists, forward- and backbends in detail. We have attention for the fundament and the alignment principles. This is how you learn to build up the asana step by step and to experience and recognize if you do it “right”. We increase the body awareness – the essence of youga!

Margriet Verhagen
Margriet is the founder of Yoga Spot and practices and teaches yoga for decades. She teaches weekly Hatha and Yin & Reiki classes at Yoga Spot. She is known to be a vivid and friendly teacher, with attention and awareness for the individual.

Date: Sunday September 29, Sunday 6 plus 13  oktober from 15.30-18.00 (location Olympic Stadium) and Saturday October 19 from 12.30 – 14.00 (location  Buitenveldert because of the Amsterdam Marathon)
