You staff the reception for a part of the day, welcome guests, and handle class registrations and payments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

If you have marketing or social media talent, you can assist with that as well. You\u2019ll become part of a teaching and volunteer team with a great vibe!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Twice a year, we organize a \u201ckarma-yogi-day\u201d for all our volunteers. On past occasions, we\u2019ve done things like solving an escape room in teams or enjoying tea and cake. Last year, we hosted a masterclass in yoga, meditation, and pranayama, followed by a high tea to get to know your karma-yogi fellows. This year\u2019s event? Depends on what you’d enjoy!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n [\/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_blurb title=”What do we expect from you?” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” theme_builder_area=”post_content” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n You\u2019re available for at least half a year (of course you can take a vacation or might be unavailable occasionally).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Based on the number of registrations, you prepare the shala.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n You prepare tea and water and greet arriving guests.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n You handle administrative tasks such as registrations, payments, and confirming bookings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n You help new clients find their way, answer questions, or refer people to teachers as needed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n During classes, you take care of light administrative tasks, find nice quotes or texts for our Facebook, Instagram, noticeboard, or restroom frames, collect content for the newsletter, or enter addresses. You may study as long as your tasks allow\u2014but telephone use is not permitted in the studio.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n After the class, you ensure clients can enjoy a cup of tea, prepare the space for the next class (e.g., swiffering, setting up or putting away mats, changing cloths), wash and dry the cups, prepare tea for the next class, and lock the door.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n [\/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_blurb title=”What do we offer in return?” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” theme_builder_area=”post_content” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n You may attend all our online classes for free.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n If there\u2019s space left at the end of your shift in a studio class, you may join for free. Preferably, you live nearby<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n [\/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_blurb title=”Are there any additional requirements?” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” theme_builder_area=”post_content” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n If you can\u2019t make your shift, you arrange a swap with other karma yogis or consult the teacher.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n We really count on your commitment\u2014so if you can\u2019t make it and can\u2019t swap, please let us know.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n We host a team meeting once a year and a \u201ckarma yogi (mid)day\u201d every six months.
